A video currently trending on TikTok has captured the moment a University of Port Harcourt (Uniport) student reportedly turned down her boyfriend’s marriage proposal.

In the viral clip, the young man is seen kneeling down as he presents a ring, apparently asking his girlfriend to marry him.

However, instead of accepting the proposal, the lady is seen walking away from the scene and shifting her attention to a car that had reportedly been gifted to her.

Eyewitnesses in the video could be heard reacting in shock, with one voice saying:

“Jesus, she no gree take the ring oh.”

As the scene unfolded, a crowd quickly gathered around the emotional moment, with some people cheering the man while others reacted in disbelief.

The boyfriend appeared visibly distressed.
