The Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) has affirmed the demise of one individual while 10 others were harmed in a petroleum tanker blast at Dikko-intersection on the Abuja-Kaduna freeway.
Alhaji Ahmed Inga, the Director General of NSEMA, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Saturday that the occurrence happened at about 10:30 pm on Friday night and furthermore brought about the consuming of a few vehicles.
"We got a report from our Suleja Desk Officer that there was a tanker blast and numerous individuals were influenced.
"We can't give the genuine number of individuals that lost their lives, we will affirm that during our evaluation; however from the report of our Suleja Desk Officer, one individual kicked the bucket in the episode.
"Numerous individuals were harmed and a few vehicles were totally burnt,"he said.
