Ex-Gombe Governor, Dankwambo Escapes Kidnap On Kaduna-Abuja Highway

A previous legislative head of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo, has supposedly circumvented being abducted on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway. 

The occurrence occurred on Tuesday evening, as per one of his assistants, Ibrahim Y. Tanko, who posted a video of the occurrence on his Twitter handle @MrYTanko. 

The video was recorded by the ex-representative's security associates, Tanko said; adding that Dankwambo was making a trip to Abuja when the occurrence occurred. 

"Time was around 4:35pm on Tuesday and His Excellency was making a trip in a guard to Abuja. 

"The ruffians hindered the Abuja-Kaduna express street, however the security men in our guard gave them a pursuit. 

"The gangsters still figured out how to steal around seven individuals, however," the associate described. 

Another helper who wished to stay unknown told columnists that Dankwambo's guard kept running into the hijackers while they worked on the roadway, and that his security subtleties terminated into the air and scattered the culprits. 

He uncovered that the outlaws murdered three people all the while. 

Other street clients who saw the occurrence likewise said that the shooters mounted a blockade around Olam Farm, where they completed the abduct and slaughtered a few voyagers who kept running into them.

"I was among the drivers that barely got away from the assault while driving with my travelers from Abuja to Kaduna," the driver, who distinguished himself as Sani, included.
