NBA star Kawhi Leonard's sister charged in dangerous theft

A relative of NBA star Kawhi Leonard has affirmed his sister is one of two ladies blamed for ransacking and murdering an old lady at a Southern California gambling club.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise reports the auntie of 35-year-old Kimesha Williams affirmed Saturday that Williams is the sister of the Los Angeles Clippers forward.

Specialists state Williams and an assistant pursued a 84-year-elderly person into a restroom at Pechanga Resort Casino on Aug. 31, broke her skull and took her tote. The unfortunate casualty kicked the bucket Wednesday.

A Riverside County sheriff's examiner is requesting that a judge keep Williams held without bail, saying she may escape and "has family that are wealthy and could post her bail."

Leonard went to secondary school in the territory. He drove the Toronto Raptors to their first NBA title during the 2018-19 season before marking with the LA Clippers.
