Man condemned to about fourteen days in prison in the wake of being discovered smoking on board an Air Peace flight


An Ogba Magistrate Court has condemned a traveler found smoking on board Air Peace flight P4 7558 from Sharjah to Lagos on December 11, to about fourteen days in jail. 

The traveler who was greeted by the aircraft's airline steward Adewale Oyebade in the wake of being spotted smoking on board the flight, was anyway given a choice of N200k fine in the wake of being seen as liable of the demonstration. 

Stanley Olisa, the Corporate Communications Executive of Air Peace affirmed the episode and furthermore revealed that the demonstration contradicted a standing worldwide avionics guideline of non-smoking in-flight.
