120-Year-Old Fisherwoman Laid to Rest in Dolphin-Shaped Casket in Delta State Community

A 120-year-old fisherwoman has been laid to rest in a customized dolphin-shaped casket in Oboro community, located in Bomadi Local Government Area.

Photos from the burial ceremony were shared on Facebook by a user identified as Safugha Charity, drawing attention to the unique casket design, which reflected the woman’s lifelong connection to fishing.

According to Safugha Charity, the elderly woman was not ill before her death. She revealed that her grandmother simply gathered her children and told them she needed to rest shortly before passing away peacefully.
