In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress expressed concern over what she described as the consequences many Nigerians face for speaking the truth.

Her reaction comes amid reports surrounding the arrest of a social media critic, Justice Crack, who had spoken out about the welfare and salaries of personnel in the Nigerian Army. The critic had reportedly urged the government to improve conditions for soldiers, stating that their pay and welfare were inadequate.

Responding to the situation, Hilda Dokubo suggested that expressing opinions openly in Nigeria can come with serious consequences.
