A 14-year-old girl has been caught after stealing and selling her mother’s phone to buy a new phone for her boyfriend.

The incident, which surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that the girl claimed she wanted her boyfriend to have a phone so he could start doing “Yahoo” — a slang term often associated with online fr***ud.

Photos shared online show the girl sitting on the ground beside her boyfriend, surrounded by neighbors who were scolding them for their actions.
