Iran did not know there was someone missing until this leaker gave out the information- Donald Trump Calls Out Media, Issues Warning

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to a media organization after accusing it of releasing sensitive information related to the search for a missing American airman.

In a statement on Monday, Trump alleged that a “leaker” disclosed critical details about the situation, which he said could have compromised national security efforts.

According to him, the leak revealed that a second U.S. pilot was missing following an aerial incident in Iran.

Speaking on the matter, Trump said:

“We’re looking very hard to find that leaker… Iran didn’t know there was somebody missing until this leaker gave the information.

“We’re going to go to the media company that released it, and we’re going to say, ‘national security, give it up or go to jail.’”

Trump maintained that the individual responsible for the leak played a major role in exposing sensitive operational details during the rescue mission.
