Mother of Late Dowen student, Sylvester Oromoni is dead

The mother of late Sylvester Oromoni Jr., the Dowen College student who tragically died in November 2021 due to alleged bullying, has passed away.

The news of her death was confirmed by family and friends, sparking widespread sorrow. Ughelli North Local Government Council member Egbo shared the news in a series of Facebook posts, stating that Mrs. Oromoni passed away at a time when her husband would need her the most.

The post reads: “Olorogun Jaro Egbo Paid Condolences visit to Warri South West LGA Chairman over the demise of his dear wife.

The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun (Barr.) Jaro Movudu Egbo Ksc, Earlier today Thursday 28th November, 2024; Paid condolences to his Warri South West LGA’s Counterpart, Hon. Chief Sylvester Oromoni over the passing of his beloved wife, Late Mrs. Rosemary Oromoni.

Barr Jaro Egbo described Mrs. Oromoni’s sudden departure as shocking and painful, stating that, she passed away at the time when her present will be needed most by the husband, my dear friend , Hon Sly Oromoni. Mrs Oromoni’s passing has left a void in the lives of those who knew her.

On behalf of my immediate family, and the good people of Ughelli North Local Government Area, I expressed my heartfelt condolences to my dear brother, friend and great colleague, on the passing of his beloved wife, Mrs. Rosemary Oromoni.
It’s my sincere prayer that the good Lord will comfort the entire family she left behind particularly, the husband and kids.

May her gentle soul find rest in the bossom of the Lord, Amen.
